Royal Wootton Bassett RFC’s Minis & Juniors rugby season will return as scheduled on Sunday 6th September at 10am.
The return of M&J rugby will go ahead despite the delay to the start of Senior rugby caused by the current dry weather and hard ground conditions.
The safety of our young players remains the priority. Appropriate mitigation measures will be put in place while the ground remains hard and dry, and coaches will adapt sessions and activities where necessary to ensure they are suitable for the conditions.
No previous rugby experience is required. New players can attend 4 free taster sessions before deciding whether to join.
Minis & Juniors Rugby
- Under 6 – Under 12:
Minis Rugby for boys and girls from reception through to Year 7 school ages.
- Under 13 – Under 16:
Junior Rugby for boys training on specified weekday evenings, with matches usually held on Sundays.
- Girls Rugby:
Our Under 12s to Under 18 'Ravens' teams provide an inspiring rugby programme for girls in school years 7 to 13.
