Our vision
At Royal Wootton Bassett RFC, our commitment to rugby excellence extends far beyond the confines of our club. We understand the profound impact that this sport can have on young lives, both on and off the field.
The CRC programme aims to spark a passion for playing rugby with children who might not otherwise have any exposure to rugby, or any other organised sport.
Building bridges
The role of the Community Rugby Coach is multi-faceted and far-reaching. Rhys, in his capacity as CRC, hopes to identify new opportunities to introduce rugby to new audiences, ensuring that every participant receives a well-rounded and enriching experience.
The CRC programme aims to create a seamless transition for young people from educational environments to community clubs. By developing and delivering innovative rugby initiatives, Rhys will play a vital role in fostering a love for the sport that endures well beyond the school years.
"Bradon Forest have been lucky enough to have Rhys from Royal Wootton Bassett Rugby Club taking their PE lessons every Tuesday and delivering some fantastic rugby sessions!
The girls from both key stages have been working on their ball handling skills, spatial awareness and game play and have all developed their rugby knowledge and ability a great deal! Many thanks for giving Bradon the opportunity."
