Following the RFU’s announcement delaying the start of the competitive community rugby season, we’re pleased to confirm that our 2026/27 competitive season will get underway on Saturday 26th September.
And it’s going to be a busy opening weekend for Bassett’s senior sides…
Saturday 26th September
🟠 1st XV vs Sidmouth RFC — AWAY
⚫ 2nd XV vs Chippenham RFC — HOME
🟠 3rd XV vs Supermarine RFC — AWAY
Then on Sunday 27th September…
⚫ RWBRFC Women vs Yate Rugby Ladies — HOME
Our 1st XV will play their first HOME fixture of the season on Saturday 3rd October, when they welcome St Austell RFC to Ballards Ash.
