Our little rugby monsters had a frightfully good time 🎃 this Halloween, with our Minis, Juniors, Ravens & Colts - and even our coaches - showing good team spirits 👻 out on the pitch!

Under 6s | Rex
It was a tough one but Rex was coaches player today. He was strong throughout the session. Firstly with the Halloween themed sprints and later with ghosts, ghouls and goblins. His sidestepping and passing on the obstacle course were also excellent.
Under 7s | Marcus
Great effort by all players this week. Some brilliant tries scored and excellent last ditch defending. The player of the week this week was Marcus who tried hard the whole session and was tenacious in defence.
Under 8s | Charlie
Charlie was our player of the week. Amazing side steps and changing direction which resulted in many tags got and tries scored.
Under 9s | Atti
Atti showed great tenacity in his tackling and his excellent work rate meant he showed up all over the pitch to stop the opposing team gaining momentum. Well done Atti!
Under 10s | Jack and Hunter
The Under 10’s Player of the week was Jack for his direct running, solid tackling and great listening skills all done with a smile on his face. Top work Jack 💪
Hunter put in some fantastic tackles and was our tackler of the week!
Under 11s | Henry
Player of the week this week goes to Henry, who has only been with us for a few weeks but is integrating with the team really well and is showing great promise in both his tackling and attacking play - keep up the good work!
Under 12s | Carwyn
Our Under 12’s player of the week went to Carwyn, for supporting his teammates in attack and showing the right determination to drive the opposition back securing turnover ball on multiple occasions. Topping it off with scoring a great team try.
Under 13s | Zech
Player of the match today for U13 went to Zech for strong contact work, offloads and hitting ruck after ruck away against Trowbridge.
Under 14s | Jack and Oscar
Jack played the full game and his scrummaging was strong throughout, made some big tackles and worked hard in his support play.
Oscar did really well to link the Forwards and Backs in attack and showed good vision and decision making on when to take our play wide.
Under 16s | Ollie and Jack
We welcomed Ledbury to Ballards Ash on Sunday and Ollie and Jack played outstanding. Jack gave us the front foot ball and Ollie called the plays from 10 to pull apart the opponents strong defence. Ollie also had a great day with his boot off the tee and from hand.
Under 15s | Ben
The U15s travelled to Old Pats this week. A tough game played in a great spirit. Player of the week is Ben who had the best arrows on Friday night
Colts | Will and Andrew
Joint players of the match this week for the Bassett Colts - Will and Andrew. The Colts lost 26-19 to Bracknell but the game was played as a squad match with all players being able to take part.
Ravens U14 | Kat
Tilly did an excellent job in her debut match for the Ravens, showcasing good speed and defensive skills, but our U14 player of the day was Kat, who made some powerful tackles, led the defensive line, and ended her performance with an impressive try from a swan dive.
Ravens U16 | Gabi
Player of the match for the Ravens U16s was Gabi who played in a new position. A tenacious tackler, picked by the opposition.
Ravens U12 | Mjay
Big efforts today from new Ravens U12s Isla, Darcy and MJay for what was their first ever games of rugby. A tough choice for Raven of the week with MJay taking home the Raven 🐦⬛, for her physical tackling.
