Royal Wootton Bassett RFC is launching a new programme of Inclusive Rugby sessions for children aged 7–12 with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

The sessions will start on Monday 16 November 2026, taking place weekly through to Christmas at Normarsh Junior School, Royal Wootton Bassett, from 4.30pm to 5.30pm.

An EHCP is for children with special educational needs and disabilities who need additional support with their education, health or development.

Our sessions aim to offer an opportunity for children to enjoy rugby, develop skills, build confidence and take part alongside others in a friendly and supportive environment.

The programme will be led by Rhys Floyd, Community Rugby Coach and senior player at both Royal Wootton Bassett RFC and Dorset & Wilts. He will be supported by young leaders from RWBRFC.

Sessions are free, but places are initially limited to 15 young people. RWBRFC will manage bookings and keep a weekly attendance register.

Register your interest and book a place

A parent or guardian must remain on site throughout each session and be willing to participate alongside their child.

If you're unsure whether the sessions would be suitable for your child, we'd encourage you to get in touch before registering so we can discuss their individual needs.
