Catch up with our Minis, Juniors and Ravens teams to find out how they got on at the weekend.

Under 6s | Ada

Our Under 6s did amazingly well at their first away fixture. They had a rookie coach joining them and they were very well behaved!  Ada was our Player of the Week. She was a little shy and apprehensive but tried really hard and joined in every game.

Under 7s | Joseph

Hungerford commended the under 7s for their good attitude and sportsmanship. Joseph was under 7s player of the week. He did really well in attack and defence and was talking to team mates to try and get them into their defensive line.

Under 8s | Hunter

Hunter was player of the week for U8s for good tagging and putting in maximum effort!

Under 9s | Henry

Henry is our player of the week. Henry was very committed today, his defence was fierce, completing tackle after tackle, not giving the opposition an inch.
On attack, he had no signs of giving up, running hard and fast, brushing off defenders and scoring tries Well done Henry, keep it up.

Under 10s | Max & Dylan

Max was awarded coaches player of the week as he has really put into practise his strong running lines whilst always looking for an offload, he communicated well and made loads of dominant tackles. We'll done Max.

Dylan was tackler of the week due to his dominant tackling throughout. He showed good line speed and constant pressure from an early press. Good tackling technique was shown and support to other players.

Under 11s | Billy

It was great to see Billy receive player of the week for his barnstorming run today, and Zion was excellent with his defence today, especially with the try saving tackle that won him tackle of the week!

Under 12s | Toby

Player of the week is Toby. He showed great work in the ruck turning the ball over multiple times and put in some great tackles to halt the opposition attacks.

Under 13s | Zack & Finn

U13s played two games against Chippenham today. Rufus the mascot was shared.

In game 1 Zack demonstrated his brilliant attacking skills by scoring 3 tries and competed hard all across the field.

In game 2 Finn I put in an excellent performance across the back 3 - strong under high ball, running the ball back and making crucial tackles.

Under 14s | Tom & Yitak

Tom who was solid at 9, scored a try and even managed to bump a couple of players with his carries. Yitak who played his first game at flanker for us and was absolutely dominant in his tackles today.

Under 15s | Olly

U15s Hosted Corsham this week. A great game played in true rugby values. Player of the Week was Olly for his improved contact work.

Under 16s | Will

The U16s welcomed West Wiltshire Warriors to Ballards Ash on Sunday. Our man of the match was Will he had a solid defensive game and made tackle after tackle. Will played at fly-half and was pulling the strings to get our backs through a well organised WWW defence.

Ravens Under 12s | Darcey

Well done to Darcey for our U12 Raven of the week, she showed great work at the breakdown. After only her second week at training!

Ravens Under 14s | Lexi

Three of our U14 Ravens, Dotty, Bella and Lexi headed to Bristol, to join Kingswood RFC in their league match against North Bristol RFC.

It was a fiercly contested match, but our players integrated well with the Kingswood players, and showed everyone what the Ravens can do, with some superb carries, tackles and energy around the pitch. Our player of the day was Lexi for fantastic work on both sides of the ball.

Ravens Under 16s | Squad

As the girls' game was cancelled this week so we scheduled a gym session and worked on legs!

Each one of the team who joined in on the sessions put their all into it and worked hard. The session ended up on the pitch, where some of the girls asked if they could stay on and do some fitness, kicking and cool downs. So they played, rugby tennis, rugby rounders and ended up the fun with a bit of American Football.

Ravens Under 18s | Amy

Amy put in a WOTM performance with some very strong support play and always breaking the game line when receiving the ball.

Although the result didn’t go our way, our team performed well and will carry on improving week by week game by game.
