Royal Wootton Bassett RFC is proud of its strong connection with The Wessex, an internationally acclaimed male choir. Many of our club members are part of this distinguished group, including our Chairman, Chris Elias.

Now, The Wessex is looking to welcome new voices—especially those with a higher vocal range—and they’re inviting prospective members to a special open evening at RWBRFC on Tuesday, 18th February, starting at 7:15 PM.

If your first thought is, “I can’t sing,” you’re not alone! Almost every man who joins says the same thing—yet we all know the club members who lead the singing in the clubhouse can definitely hold a tune! 🎶

Much like RWBRFC, The Wessex Choir thrives on camaraderie, teamwork, and striving for excellence. Whether on the pitch or the stage, both organisations foster a welcoming, supportive environment for new members.

So, if you’re even slightly curious, why not pop along? Enjoy a pint, listen in, and find out more about the choir.
