Join us for an evening of fine food, dancing, drinks and entertainment on Saturday 13th July at our annual Royal Wootton Bassett Summer Ball here at Ballards Ash.
Open to the wider community as well as to members of our rugby club, the Summer Ball is one of Royal Wootton Bassett’s premier social events with people coming from far and wide to enjoy the evening’s festivities.
So what’s in store?
The Summer Ball is a black tie event with great food, drinks and dancing with a live band, disco and an open bar. Gather with friends for welcome drinks on arrival before moving inside to the main bar. Drinks are fully inclusive for the whole evening with your ticket price. Once charged, we go onwards to find our tables in the marquee.
What display awaits us this year?
Previous years have seen the marquee decorated with themes from Venice to the Rugby World Cup, to Mary Poppins to a Chinese Garden, while we’ve also steamed away on a Cruise Boat theme in years gone by. The only way you’ll know will be to come and join us.
Once seated at your table, service begins with a three-course meal served at your table with a choice of wine. Further drink orders can be taken and delivered to your table, saving your legs for the upcoming entertainment.
Then the entertainment begins
Grab your partner and join the rush to the dance floor to the tunes of our disco, before shaking your butt till the early hours with our Live Band.
Then it’s time to recharge when cheese and port is served in the marquee - or for those of a stronger disposition, visit the Shots Bar in the Clubhouse.
As the night draws to an end, a chance to say farewell to friends, share hugs and kisses, and all agree that you’ll be here again this time next year.
