Royal Wootton Bassett RFC Colts completed another remarkable season by celebrating their achievements with coaches, friends and family at an awards night on Friday.
Colts Head Coach Mark Roshier introduced a recap of the season and memories of their recent tour to Belgium before presenting the Under 17 and Under 18 player awards.

RWBRFC Colt of the Year
Finally, Mark Roshier invited President of the club Mark Wightman and Bryn Stew - who was thanked for regularly refereeing Colts matches - to present the prestigious RWBRFC Colt of the Year award.
Colt of the Year - Oli Joseph
Oli was recognised for a consistently impressive season of performances and leadership, both on and off the field with the Colts, and for making a seemingly effortless transition to Bassett's senior squad.
Mark also took the opportunity to recognise one partucular Colt for their length of service and commitment to the sport through all of Royal Wootton Bassett RFC's youth age groups.
Kyle Mountford was the only Under 18 to have played rugby at the club from Under 7s all the way to the end of Under 18s. Congratulations Kyle - we look forward to seeing you continue with our Senior squad.
Thanks were shown to the Team Managers and volunteers for their invaluable assistance behind the scenes. And the Colts in turn presented gifts to their coaches to say thank you for the hard work put in with them this season.
This was an impressive season of 'thirds' for the Colts. The team ended third in their league, third in the D&W Cup and third in the Gent Festival of Rugby. Now as the Under 18s transition through to senior rugby next season, we are very much looking forward to watching how these young men continue their rugby journey.
Royal Wootton Bassett RFC Colts invite new U17/U18 players to join them ahead of the 2023-24 season. The team are proud of their positive, friendly environment where we value exciting rugby with a player-centred approach, supplemented by fun off-the-field social shenanigans.
