On Saturday March 8th, the U14s and U16s RWBRFC Ravens took on an epic challenge: collectively cycling 425 miles—the equivalent distance from Royal Wootton Bassett to Cardiff, Leicester, Twickenham, and back! These locations represent the home stadiums for the Red Roses' Six Nations fixtures.

Taking to their saddles at 10am and continuing throughout the day, the girls squad - with support from their parents and coaches - smashed their target and completed a distance of 442 miles.

Their aim was to raise funds for the Ravens' first-ever tour to the Barkers Butts RFC Women’s Festival in Coventry.

Early donations and words of encouragement were received from Bassett's senior players prior to the day's matches. The girls would like to thank everyone who made donations, purchased raffle tickets and those who helped put on the event.

There is still time to donate to the girls' challenge at: www.gofundme.com/f/ravens-u14s-rugby-tour

Support the Ravens as they embark on this exciting journey and help them make their first tour unforgettable!

The Ravens would like to pay special thanks for generous donations from Bristol & Avon Group and Oculus Wealth Management.
