Royal Wootton Bassett Rugby Club Receives Kits 4 Kids Grant from Royal Mail
Royal Wootton Bassett Rugby Club is delighted to announce that, thanks to a generous Kits 4 Kids grant from Royal Mail, our Colts and Juniors teams have been outfitted with brand-new playing kits and touchline coats for our two Colts teams. This funding is a significant boost for our youth players, enhancing their experience on the pitch and fostering a sense of pride in representing the club.
A special thanks goes to Matt Fox, a dedicated parent and club supporter, who played a key role in securing this grant. Matt applied on behalf of the club and we are incredibly grateful for his initiative and hard work in helping secure the grant.
Reflecting on the grant, Matt shared:
"My son Freddy has played for RWBRFC since he was 11 and the coaches, players, parents and staff have been incredibly welcoming and supportive throughout that time. I am thrilled that I was able to help secure funding from Royal Mail for the team’s kit and look forward to seeing it on the pitch."
The new playing kits are already making an impact, boosting morale and team unity among our Juniors as they proudly wear the RWBRFC colours. For our Colts, the new touchline coats provide essential warmth during the winter months, ensuring they’re ready to give their best in all weather conditions. This support directly contributes to the ongoing development of our players and enhances their experience both on and off the pitch.
We are deeply appreciative of Royal Mail’s commitment to grassroots sport through the #RoyalMailKits4Kids initiative. Their support strengthens local youth teams like ours, helping young players build confidence, camaraderie, and a lifelong passion for rugby. It is partnerships like these that help us foster a positive, inclusive environment where youth sport can flourish.
Thank you once again to Royal Mail and to Matt Fox for making this possible. We look forward to seeing our Colts and Juniors represent RWBRFC with pride in their new gear!
