It was all rugby and rainbows for our Minis & Juniors on Sunday. Let's catch up with their weekend highlights:
Under 6s | Rupert
Rupert is our U6s player of the week. We had a great session with Warminster. Rupert showed great perseverance!
Under 8s | Castiel
Castiel was this week's player highlight. He has shown great improvement and listened to coach instructions.
Under 9s | Jonathon & Rufus
Jonathan led by example with moving forward in attack and defence, showing great support and teamwork throughout.
Great pressure defence and strong tackling ensured Rufus was tackler of the week, flustering the opposition and forcing them to make errors.
Under 11s | Jack
Jack picked up player of the week for the Under 11s for great all round play and fantastic kicking. Well done Jack!
Under 13s | Squad
U13s Player of the week went to the whole team for an excellent team performance in a home game against Marlborough.
Under 14s | Squad
An all round performance from both forwards and backs this Sunday to produce a home win for U14s against Hungerford RFC.
Under 15s | Toby
Toby has come back to the club after a few years out. It is like he hasn't been away, making big ball carries and forming part of a front row that dominates most opposition. Well done Toby
Under 16s | Paul
Excellent performance today from our front row prop Paul who changed the game with some very hard carries and scrummaging.
Special mentions to George and Jake from the U15s who played for the U16s today and both did incredibly well.
Colts | Roo, Chris, Sol & Jackson
Congratulations to these four Bassett Colts who represented Dorset & Wilts in an U18s County match against Berkshire.
