Bath Hooker Tom Dunn joined our Under 6s during their joint training session at Chippenham RFC.
Under 6s | Zayn
Zayn got player of the week this week, for good listening and trying hard.
Under 7s | Finn
Finn for player of the week - amazing tagging, running and try scoring! All round 100% effort.
Under 8s | Atti
Atti was switched on this week, he got stuck in while defending, and did really well on attack with good support play, rewarded with a try to top it off. Well done Atti!
Under 9s | Niamh & Jack
Player of the week was Niamh. Although a quiet player, Niamh is the very definition of great team player. Always showing great support for other players and listening to the coaches guidance. Awesome stuff.
Tackler of the week was Jack. Jack was certainly motivated this week and put in a great shift. Closing gaps, chasing down players and of course getting those tackles in. Fantastic.
Under 10s | Oliver
Oliver showed great resilience and determination after a tough first session and won player of the week for leading the team with some fantastic play at the end. And Ollie really deserved to win tackle of the week for some really big hits against some strong Chippenham players.
Under 11s | Rupert
Well done to Rupert for picking up player of the week for the under 11's he put in a great performance for his first game for the club and picking up a try on his debut. Great job Rupert!
Under 12s | Zach
Zach is U12 Player of Week in a tough game against a strong Chippenham side. Zach competed well at the breakdown including an excellent turnover from which he scored a well-taken try.
Under 13s | Tom
Tom performs well consistently every week and always turns up and plays with a smile on his face. He is pictured on his birthday in his new Bassett kit.
Under 16s | Jimmy
Jimmy has been in excellent form lately and he proved this with an outstanding display of hard carries and robust defence in difficult conditions. Well done Jimmy.
Colts | Squad
Our Bassett Colts convincingly won their D&W Plate Semi Final on Sunday against Frome RFC Colts. They now progress to the D&W Plate Final next month.
