News from our Minis, Juniors and Ravens teams this weekend
Under 6s | Euan
Euan was player of the week for good evasion in the attacking drills.
Under 8s | Henry
Under 9s | Rufus & Harry
Rufus was tackler of the week. He consistently went in for the tackle. He would get in the way of the opposition and chased down the tackle to prevent the try.
Harry was player of the week. He showed fantastic support for his team always was in a supportive play. Went in for some great tackles and never gave up chasing down the tackle even to the last yard on the pitch.
Under 10s | Eliza & Emily
It was really hard to pick only two players today as everyone did so well, but the coaches did decide Eliza did a fantastic job tackling everything in sight and Emily got our player of the week for great all round play!!
Under 11s | Carwyn
This weeks Under 11's player of the week went to Carwyn, who played really well against a tough Stow side, showing a great turn of pace to score in the corner from his own half.
Under 12s | Team
The whole team are our Players of the Week for an excellent team effort in a good win against a strong and determined Stow side.
Under 13s | Team
Another excellent performance this morning. The defence was epic which resulted in not a single try conceded. Impossible to pick a singular player of the week this week so it goes to the whole team.
Under 14s | Team
Return fixture away at Chippenham this Sunday for the U14s. A mature all round team effort in the 2nd half allowed RWB to score 3 unanswered tries.
Under 15s | Chris
In an equal game v Old Pats, Bassett suffered early injuries across the forwards. Chris playing at 6 switched to hooker as the remaining qualified front row player. As hooker he threw a good ball, hooked against the head and in open play hit in the tackle as if he was still in the backrow.
Under 15s | James
Today we travelled to Upton-on-Severn James started the day on the wing, he was reliable in attack and defence chasing everything. After halftime he moved to inside centre and scored 2 trys and making several crucial tackles. Great work James.
Ravens | Emily & Amelie
Emily and Amelie from the U16 Ravens played for North Dorset & Wilts against South Dorset & Wilts on Sunday. Well done both!
