Under 6s | Hayden
Hayden was this week's player of the week. Great catching and good attitude.
Under 7s | Charlie
Charlie was this week's player of the week. He scored an amazing try.
Under 9s | Euan, Joe & Millie
Euan and Joe got player of the week at Tetbury today. Euan was for dynamic ball carrying and bone shuddering tackles
Joe backed up his team mates when they needed support. Went in for the tackles. Just kept his head up and kept going
Millie got tackler of the week for the second time because even though she volunteered to play for Tetbury she tackled her Bassett team mates at every opportunity and put in some good technique and positioning
Under 8s | Henry
Henry was our player of the week. Great play, dynamic with ball in hand and committed on defense.
Under 11s | Liam
Liam picked up player of the Under 11's this week for his improvement in tackling throughout the game and teamwork.. and topped off with a great try. Well done Liam!
Under 10s | Lincoln & Leo
Player of the week was awarded to Lincoln for great running in attack. Tackle of the week was awarded to Leo for a fantastic try saving tackle.
Under 12s | Benjamin
Great effort against Tetbury and showed great resilience getting back up and fully into the game after a challenge that knocked him for six!
Under 13s | Finn
Finn was MoTM. Excellent around the park as always. Strong ball carry’s and an incredible amount of dominant tackles.
Excellent team performance again today, came on leaps and bounds since we played Brockworth at the back end of last season.
Under 14s | Squad
A very tight game against a strong Cirencester team for the U14s this Sunday. Great team effort in defence and attack to produce another home win.
Under 15s | Edward
Edward came on in the second half to play in a game that was being dominated by scrum outcomes. Against a very impressive Bristol Imperial team he kept strong and played his part in the scrum going forward for the rest of the game.
Under 16s | Ellis
With the club from u6s to u16s, Ellis showed his maturity and game knowledge today with an excellent all round performance in difficult conditions at Dursley RFC.
