The clubhouse was packed last month during our screening of award-winning documentary Mark Our Place.

Flm maker Ashley Morrison introduced the documentary and concluded with a question and answer session.

Mark Our Place, which was four years in the making across a number of countries, is a fascinating insight into the very different experiences of three young officers in World War 1.

Once our club had been invited to screen the film, it became a great opportunity for RWBRFC to involve the wider local community. A good number of our members were present, but many local residents visited our facilities to watch the film, as well as representatives from organisations such as the REME Association and The Royal British Legion and other local clubs.
