Royal Wootton Bassett RFC’s popular annual 'Sausage & Cider Festival' returns on Saturday, 26th April.
With around 1,000 attendees each year, this much-loved festival is the perfect day out for rugby fans, foodies, cider lovers, and families alike.
Gates open at 11am. Bars open from Noon. So whether you’re here for the rugby, the cider, or just a great day out, this is an event not to be missed!
Here's a small selection of what we have in store...
Festival Cider Marquee
Cider and scrumpy fans will be able to peruse a wide choice selection of Ciders in our marquee.
A tasty range of gourmet sausages and burgers will be waiting for you to sample on the grill.
Bars open at Noon.
Rugby Matches
From Walking Rugby to the best of Bassett seniors - make sure you enjoy all the action on the pitch.

Family Fun
George Scarrott and Son’s Fun Fair will entertain the younger ones with funfair rides, bungee trampolines, inflatables, stalls, and sweet treats.

Entry to the Festival with a Festival Programme is £5 on the gate, with Under 18s free to enter.
We are pleased to be able to take payment by card.
There is plenty of free car parking available on site.
The Sausage & Cider refreshments will be hosted in our external marquee. To reduce queuing, cider, real ale, sausages and burgers may be purchased in the marquee with the exchange of a special token. Throughout our Festival, our RWBRFC Clubhouse Bar will be open as normal serving refreshments by token payment. Tokens can be purchased on-site throughout the day. Tokens are non-refundable.
Only alcohol purchased at the event may be consumed on the premises.
Only persons aged 18 or over are permitted to purchase alcohol. You may be requested to provide proof of age.

This show-stopping Blues Brothers tribute act provides a fantastic combination of Motown classics and Rock ‘N’ Roll nostalgia.
Festival rugby showdown: From walking rugby to club rivalries
As ever, this year’s festival promises a fantastic line-up of exciting rugby action. We’ll get things underway with our first ever Walking Rugby Tournament, followed by the Featured Match where the Club President’s handpicked XV will go head-to-head with the Chairman’s XV. Top-quality rugby from start to finish!

Hosted by the ‘Old Dogs’ team of Royal Wootton Bassett RFC, the tournament features a mix of teams showcasing just how inclusive and enjoyable this version of rugby can be.

Get ready for a cracking contest as an RWBRFC President’s XV takes on a Chairman’s XV in our Festival's featured match.
With guest players joining the fray, expect big hits, slick skills, and plenty of friendly rivalry. Kick-off is at 3pm, don’t miss it!
