The long summer break is over, and our pitches were buzzing again on Sunday as Minis, Juniors and Colts returned to action.

With plenty of new faces and plenty of energy, it was great to see so many young players back out on the field — eager to kick off another season of rugby.

Under 7s | Theo

Theo made a memorable debut in our first training session after the summer break, earning Player of the Week with his confident, weaving runs. His movement in the game and bulldog was great.
The rain arrived mid-game, adding a dramatic twist but not enough to slow us down. The team stayed focused and energetic, making the most of the session and shaking off the summer rust. Well done everybody.

Under 8s | Ariel

Ariel won player of the week. It was her first session, she won bulldog, listened really well, super speedy!

Ravens Under 12s |

This week the U12 Ravens were back! Warmed up with hill sprints, then a kicking practice and rucking recap. Well done to all on the first Sunday back.

Under 9s | James

Player of the Week is James. James demonstrated a really good understanding of today's exercises and put this practice with some great tackles during the games. Well done James!

Under 10s | Alfie

Alfie really got stuck into the first training game for the season running some direct lines and making some key tackles.

Under 12s |

The Under 12s had a great first week back at Ballards Ash, finishing with a group session talking all things teamwork.

Under 11s | Thomas

Welcome to Thomas, who was Player of the Week for getting stuck into the session, showing tenacious tackles and great hands under the kick restarts. Another great addition to the Under 11’s squad.

Under 13s | Grayson

Our U13’s player of the week went to Grayson after a standout performance in our first game of the season against Supermarine.

Playing scrum half for the first time, Grayson rose to the challenge with confidence and composure, providing quick, clean ball to the backline and setting the tempo throughout the match. His hard work around the breakdown kept the team on the front foot, and he capped off a brilliant debut at 9 by scoring an outstanding hat-trick.

Under 15s | Eddie

It was a tough day at the office today, working in terrible conditions. We are proud of how the boys stuck at it with so many playing out of position and didn’t let their heads drop!

Man of the match went to Eddie. Excellent work rate in defence, making tackle after tackle.

Colts | James

Today was the Colts first game of the season. Bringing together two age groups is never going to be to easy, but against tough opposition, the Colts played a solid game, sticking to the plan and plays we've been working on for the last four weeks.

Our MOTM was James - he was comfortable across the back 3 and ran a number of impressive lines, constantly causing the Quins' defence a problem whilst not missing a tackle in Defence.
