At the 2021 Dorset & Wilts RFU Virtual Annual General Meeting the Wildash-Bowden Volunteer of the Year Award was presented.

We are delighted to say that in recognition of over 40 years service to RWBRFC, our recently “retired” treasurer, Terry Aylett, was presented with the award by Willie Wildash.

Willie highlighted the extraordinary commitment that Terry has given to our club over several decades, which he said should be recognised by the whole rugby community.

Terry was presented with the Bowden Wildash Salver during our Golden Jubilee Rugby Fest in September in front of an admiring crowd.

"During Terry’s tenure the club has grown hugely and had a major relocation project of a couple of million pounds," said club chairman Chris Elias. "He has been incredible and put in so many man hours that we needed two people to replace him in the role. He has kept our club financially sound with his prudent financial management and we are very grateful to him."
