Royal Wootton Bassett RFC are very proud to have been placed second in the BBC Wiltshire Services to the Community Award.
THE winners were announced at a glitzy ceremony at Centre Parcs on Friday night. Judges narrowed down hundreds of entries into a set of finalists which they then visited before making the difficult decision of who should win.
Gooding Accounts won gold in our category, Royal Wootton Bassett RFC being awarded second place while Football Club infiLED Ltd bagged the bronze.

RWBRFC are proud to have been shortlisted as finalists in the ‘Service to the Community Award’ for the 25th Wiltshire Business Awards.
The awards, developed by Newsquest Wiltshire, are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, and aim to showcase the high standard of businesses in the county.
Judges for the awards have hand picked businesses which could be crowned with one of the 10 awards at a ceremony in May.
Royal Wootton Bassett RFC have made it through to the final stages of the ‘Service to the Community Award’ and are now looking forward to a visit by judges from BBC Wiltshire and Thrings Solicitors for a tour of the facilities and a short presentation.
“We’re delighted to have reached the finals of the awards,” said Club Chairman Chris Elias. “The visit by the judges will be our chance to make a final good impression before they sit down to reach their verdict, and we look forward to showing off the contributions our club has made to the local community.”
This year’s awards ceremony will be held at Centerparcs Longleat on 10th May where more than 80 finalists will compete for one of the accolades. Winners of each category will then be chosen to enter the award to be crowned overall winner.
