Royal Wootton Bassett RFC is very pleased to announce a sponsorship agreement with Partners Wealth Management, providing financial support specifically for the club's youth section.
The three-year sponsorship agreement, which commenced this season, will provide valuable kit and equipment for RWBRFC's Minis & Juniors age groups. The funds have already helped provide new waterproof clothing for the club's volunteer coaches which will help them continue to deliver outdoor training in all weathers.
Matthew Strickland FPFS, Chartered Financial Planner and Partner at PWM has been a regular at Sunday morning training for the last 4 years since his eldest son took to the field.
Whilst the Partners Wealth Management head office is based in London, Matthew and his family live in Swindon and he provides financial advice to individuals, families, and businesses locally, as well as throughout the M4 corridor.
"Having witnessed first-hand the level of commitment week in, week out by the volunteers at the club, I was keen to get involved and contribute something to help the Mini’s & Juniors continue its success," said Matthew.
"The winter months can get cold and very wet, but the enthusiasm by the youth coaches never falters in my experience, and this is a core part of the club’s success, on and off the field. We are thrilled to be working with the club, and particularly the Minis & Juniors moving forward."
Alec Adams, RWBRFC Sponsorship Secretary said, "We are so grateful for the commitment shown to our club by Matthew and Partners Wealth Management. Their support will make a positive and lasting difference in the lives of so many young people who play rugby at our club."
