On behalf of Royal Wootton Bassett RFC we would like to apologise for any inconvenience experienced by club members not being able to use their Membership Cards for payment over the bar.
However, we are delighted to confirm that the issues between our till system and the RFU GMS database over the last three weeks have now been resolved. All Membership Cards should now be fully operational. Please be assured that any funds on your Cards have never been at risk.
Please note
As a result of dealing with this issue the GMS software now functions as it was originally intended. This means that if a member has not paid this season's Membership Fees then their card will be temporarily voided until such time as they renew their membership. Then within 24 hours of receipt of payment the card will be reactivated.
For future reference, please note that our Membership period runs from 1st September through to 31st August the following year. To avoid having your Membership Card temporarily voided it is best to renew your membership prior to the end of August each year.
