On Saturday 12th January, RWBRFC Minis took 225 parents and children to watch Bath vs Wasps in the Heineken Champions Cup at The Rec.

75 young Bassett Minis in RWBRFC playing kit were proud to form the Guard of Honour as both teams took to the field. This was one of the largest Guard of Honours ever seen at the Rec and it was lovely to see them take to the field, waving their flags enthusiastically as the players emerged onto the pitch.

Following the GoH, the Minis were allowed to run off back to the stand to watch Bath seal the victory 18-16 thanks to a late Rhys Priestland penalty.

Before and after the match the minis played rugby in the outfield. Then in The Swift Half, the Bath watering hole, there was a signing session with Semesa Rokoduguni, Jamie Roberts and Joe Cokanasiga.

Many thanks to Bath Rugby for all their support making this event happen. Also to the parents who actively supported this day with lots of enthusiasm.
