Come along to Royal Wootton Bassett RFC on Saturday 8th September for the return of the Bassett Beer Festival and enjoy the very best in Real Ale, Burgers, Rugby and Live Music.

The event opens at Ballards Ash Sports Ground at Noon with 15 beers, 6 ciders and a selection of perries, plus burgers and BBQ food throughout the day, two exciting rugby matches and live music throughout the day.  Free entry with a warm welcome to all.

 

Real Ale fans will be able to peruse a choice of 15 Beers as well as a selection of Ciders & Perries. A Commemorative Glass, Programme and Beer Tokens can be purchased on the day, whilst the Clubhouse Bar will be open as normal.

Two exciting rugby matches kick-off at 3pm with Royal Wootton Bassett's 1st XV taking on Witney RFC and our 2nd XV facing Melksham RFC.

After the match, live music from three bands* will play throughout the evening. Kicking off proceedings will be the return of the popular RWBA Swing Band They will be followed with a set of Neil Diamond classics in the form of Pete Jones.  Rounding off the evening will be Simon Currie, the superb Jazz Saxophonist.
